I think the real takeaway from this article is the following that anytime something becomes more accessible and what it produces is a liability costs go up. People just have this weird notion that code is a strategic moat. Code is in fact not a strategic moat. Code almost universally is a liability. So if you produce that liability faster with less ...even if it's inconsistent in someone's head and it's not beautiful code it's still the same code.
